John Legend Talks On New Album Says It’s His Best Work
John Legend talks on new album and says it’s his best work. The name of the album is “Bigger Love.” His new album is due on Friday, “Juneteenth”and it is his seventh album.
Legend told USA Today that he put so much energy and love into the album. Additionally, he said that he feels people need an upliftment during this difficult period. Legend said that the songs on the album were written last year before the pandemic hit.
The soulful tracks on the album were inspired by Chrissy, who is Legend’s wife. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend got married in 2013, and they have two children together, Luna and Miles.
On his Instagram account, Legend describes himself as Chrissy’s husband and father to Luna and Miles. The husband and father of two is not shy of sharing his family videos and photos on Instagram with his fans. Legend said his relationship with his wife Chrissy has always been strong and robust.
He added that most of the songs on the new album are all about celebrating love and reminiscing on the moments you may miss. Some of the 16 track album collaborators include Jhene Aiko, Koffee, and Gary Klark Jr.
Legend said the album is a summary of all his influences hence naming it his best work. Aside from singing, Legend has also helped felons in the country get their voting rights restored.
He also worked on educating voters worldwide on critical issues. Recently he and his wife pledged to contribute $200,000 to the National Lawyers Guild, The Black Lives Matter Movement, and The Bail Project.
