Drake is now ‘Diamond’ in record sales

Drake (Drizzy, Champagne Papi) is a Canadian American rapper who tops billboard charts whenever he cuts the record. Whether he is collaborating with other music artists or a solo act his songs will catch your attention. This music veteran is a guy everyone wants to work with plus you really get a career boost as an end result. The “Hotline bling” star is a double threat from singing and acting. His songs are brilliant and lyrics flow with the beat. He is a panty-dropper for hip hop and rap music. His songs are seductive with tone and mood rather than language. Likewise, he adds a Reggae infusion by working with reggae artist “Popcaan.”  On the other hand, the Champagne papi can speak a lick of Spanish, too. His music is multi-platinum and is now Diamond in sales.

Drake’s God’s Plan

Remember that music video when he was giving out free items and cash in the supermarket? Well, “Gods plan” went Diamond on the “Recording industry Association of America, (RIAA)” charts. For those who do not know, it means that you sold over ten-million records. Then, his collaboration with, “Bad Bunny- Mia” went diamond in the Latin charts. Moreover, his song one dance remained at number one for eleven consecutive weeks on the billboard hot 100 charts. Watch God’s Plan here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpVfcZ0ZcFM

Drakes Memory Lane

Taking a look back down memory lane, Drizzy took time to celebrate and remember his ‘Nothing is the same’ album. On the album, he had “Started from the bottom” and “Hold on we going home.” Started from the bottom is as iconic for the struggle on the come up in the hood. Likewise, he is optimistic and cheerful on most of the releases. This September 24th, Drizzy had a photo of his album cover on a chocolate cake with blue icing. Subsequently, he posted old photos on Instagram.

Drake’s Artistry

Although Drake made headlines in hotline bling, his success makes his money dance genuine. Then, he makes you dance in “In my feelings” also known as “Ke Ke do you love me.” Furthermore, he is humorous in his dance off with Chris Brown in “No guidance.” Therefore, Drake is a certified artist and a MVP in the recording industry. He has quite the platinum-touch. The fans are still in love with “Scorpion album,” but his new album is in the midst of creation.
